Thrill-seekers and explorers can also head to Futuroscope in Poitiers, just 45 minutes from the estate, for an action-packed day.
Domaine Lucienne , therefore, offers you the perfect balance between peaceful countryside, a variety of recreational activities, and quick access to the region’s most beautiful tourist attractions.
Important note: the kitchen cannot comfortably seat more than 14 people, so groups of over 18 cannot fit inside the room. It is also not equipped to prepare meals for 18 people. Please keep this in mind.
However, in the summer, there is plenty of room for over 18 people on the terrace, complete with an outdoor kitchen featuring a barbecue, planchas, and a pizza oven.
Both the main house and the cozy pool house are made for total relaxation, while the six bedrooms (plus a big tent in the summer) give everyone plenty of privacy and space to hang out together.
You'll have access to the pool, petanque court, ping-pong table, trampoline, swing set, fitness area, and pickleball court. Plus, there's a great game room for rainy days or cozy evenings, featuring a big screen, sound system, foosball, darts, air hockey, pool table, retro arcade machine, and an awesome virtual pinball machine. And of course, don't forget the hot tub and infrared sauna!
There are also two striking giant domes: one set up as a bedroom with gorgeous views of nature, and the other as a cozy lounge space, ideal for stargazing while staying out of the heat or rain.
The amazing pickleball court is definitely one of the highlights of the estate. Thanks to professional lighting, you can play all year round. When it's too hot during the day, cool off in the pool or play petanque in the shade, then save your pickleball matches for the evening.
Everything you need is provided: pickleball rackets, balls, towels for the pool, hot tub, and sauna, petanque balls, ping-pong paddles, and more.
The entire estate is yours to enjoy during your stay. However, there is an on-site contact person who will take care of regular maintenance for the pool and hot tub.
The house, garden, domes, and pool are completely private with no overlooking neighbors, so peace and quiet are guaranteed. That said, the grounds are not fully fenced, so it might not be the best fit if you have pets that like to wander off.
Unfortunately, the estate is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for people with reduced mobility, as there are stairs and gravel paths.
